EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a practical self-help method that involves tapping fingertips on meridian/acupressure points on the face and upper body. It allows us to transform the way we respond to uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, and troubling memories. In the United States, EFT has been approved for the treatment of veterans suffering from PTSD. It can bring surprising and lasting relief.
Here at Staffordshire Network for Mental Health, we have commissioned holistic therapist Adrian Basford to lead an introductory session to EFT.
You will learn:
● What EFT is, what it does and how it works
● How to check in with yourself and analyse how you feel
● Empowering tools for self-help that can be done from the comfort of your own home
● Ideas to help you move forward from anxiety and trauma
EFT can be used for a wide range of personal circumstances, from quitting a bad habit to dealing with anxiety or helping you manage your anger.
You learn the technique and then use your imagination to apply it to your own life. Why not come along and see how it may benefit you? We offer a safe, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere to learn together.
