There's no one-size-fits-all approach to coping, and that's okay. At Staffordshire Network for Mental Health (SNfMH), we have a team of experienced professionals working across Staffordshire to offer support, guidance, and resources to help you navigate your mental wellbeing journey.
Mental health. Your journey, our support

The Toolbox is a 60-minute one-to-one session where you can talk things through with a trained member of our team. We’ll listen, help you make sense of how you’re feeling, and work with you to plan next steps. Together, we’ll look at your support network, explore useful resources, and agree on coping strategies that feel realistic for you.
By the end of the session, we’ll create an individual plan to help you move forward, based on what matters most to you. We’ll also check in with you a few weeks later to see how you’re getting on and whether you need any further support.
Offering tailored mental health support to individuals who have settled in the local area through a resettlement programme. For Ukrainians this support will be delivered by a Ukrainian and Russian speaking mental health advisor with lived experience of resettlement.
Our community allotment in Chadsmoor is a calm, welcoming space where you can take a break, get some fresh air, and feel part of something. You’re free to join in with gentle gardening at your own pace, or simply sit and chat, there’s no pressure and no expectation to “be okay”. A trained mental health advisor is on site to offer a listening ear, gentle support, and help you think through next steps if you want that. Spending time outdoors and doing small, practical tasks can help with stress, low mood and anxiety by adding routine, movement, and a sense of achievement. It’s also a place to connect with others and feel supported, while growing food that helps the local community food bank
Our Chatty Corner is a welcoming safe space focussed on mental wellbeing. Enjoy a relaxed conversation over a warm cuppa in a supportive and friendly atmosphere.
Volunteers play an essential role in everything we do, from helping out on projects and fundraising to directly supporting others on their mental health journeys. We can offer support and training to volunteers who have lived mental health experience, helping them to gain skills, confidence and make friends through volunteering to help others.
